Free Art Found On Shoreditch Street Art Tour

The work of elusive street artist Skeleton Cardboard has featured on the Shoreditch Street Art Tour on a daily basis but today two lucky guests got a lot closer to the street art than usual.  Eagle eyed street art spotters Lisa and Sarah from Montreal found not one but TWO delicious painted pieces of art on cardboard by Skeleton Cardboard.  Their delight at these discoveries is evident in the photos.

That looks like Free Art!

What is Free Art or Found Art you ask?  Well it is art that street artists put out on the streets with the intention that someone should find it, treasure it and keep it.  You can tell the artist’s intention was to leave a gift for a lucky stranger if the art is not painted on a street fixture nor glued to a surface and basically is pick up-able!  Trust your instinct, be honest and remember that street art is meant for us all to enjoy so don’t go stealing work that wasn’t meant to be free art.   Happy Hunting!
