Lightning struck twice on the same street art tour today with the discovery of two free street art pieces by Sean Worrall.
The first piece was hanging in an alley and it was the perfect combination of nice colours and small suitcase friendly size. Sean places beautifully painted leaves on wood on nails on walls for people to locate, collect and treasure, each one is part of his long running #43leaves project.
A few hundred metres and several streets away a second #43leaves was spotted.
Then something curious and unexpected was spotted, the wooden pieces were actually mirror images AND consecutive edition numbers. Now these TWO 43 leaves are going to find a new home in Hoboken New Jersey and the dilemma is… which configuration to hang them?
I feel the answer is going to involve a frequent re-assembly, exploring all the configurations.
We have had the pleasure of finding Sean’s leaves before though not for a few years (here 2017) (here 2019) so it was great to get lucky again.
By curious chance, the day before another piece of free art by Ztenzila was found and is going to get a new home in a schoolboy’s bedroom in Metz, France
